Cristina Romagnoli, DPT

Cristina worked at Dr. Phillips Hospital in Orlando, Florida focusing on rehabilitation for the oncology and lymphedema populations. She was first introduced to this patient population while working at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD where she became a STAR certified Oncology Rehabilitation Specialist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She is passionate about total mind and body wellness and the importance of the modern health care provider to consider the patient as a complete person not just an illness or injury.  Cristina has practiced yoga for over 15 years and received her 200-hour yoga teacher certification in Baltimore with YogaWorks in order to integrate her love of yoga into her physical therapy practice. She began the yoga for Cancer Survivors and their Families workshop and weekend retreat at Bon Secours in Maryland and continues to teach in her new home in Orlando. Cristina received further yoga training in Kundalini, Nidra, and Yin to incorporate these practices into her love for teaching and guiding people to their most luminous Self. She enjoys and specializes in working with special populations including Lymphedema, Oncology, PTSD, Eating Disorders, and Chronic Pain. Cristina’s yoga classes focus on mindful awareness of the Body, energetic flows, and anatomy-based alignment.  Off the mat you can find Cristina outside running with her Siberian husky mix Laika, camping, or riding her 1984 Honda Nighthawk. Sometimes you’ll find her inside enjoying a good book, playing piano, or painting.
