Cheryl Shero, Executive Director

Cheryl Shero has been the  CEO of Gottsche Rehabilitation Center for the past 15 years.  Cheryl was born and raised in Wyoming and moved to California to attend college.  After 28 years, she came back to her roots in Thermopolis Wyoming.  Cheryl was a business owner and real estate developer while serving on the Gottsche board,  prior to accepting the position as CEO of Gottsche.  Cheryl prides herself in being a vital part of the community and finds her strengths in Business development and leadership.  This can be noted with the wide array of organizations she has been involved with such as the Thermopolis Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Economic Development, Wyoming Association of Non-Profits, The Senior Citizens Board, School Booster clubs and activities while her sons were in school, Tobacco and suicide prevention coalition, Founding Father’s committee of Leadership Hot Springs County among many others.  Cheryl is one who sees a need in a community, and goes about servicing that need.

Cheryl’s prized success is the addition of four rehab facilities around the State of Wyoming after Gottsche had remained a one clinic operation for 50 years prior.   Cheryl took Gottsche from being a half million dollar a year company, to one with 5 facilities that are all ongoing, viable non profit organizations.  Cheryl has improved the facilities and the communities they are in by adding wellness centers with state of the art equipment, women’s wellness education and providing facilities that treat those who are in need regardless of the ability to pay.  Cheryl is a forward thinker and uses her creativity to make all five Gottsche locations a success and an asset to the communities that they are in.

“I love my job and enjoy getting to be a part of such a great organization that provides so many beneficial services to those in need.  I love seeing the success stories of our patients and am proud to be a part of the Gottsche team.”

Physical Therapists+Ryan Vincent PT, DPT, OCS

“I chose to become a physical therapist after seeing the profound impact it had on my mother and brother when they went through it. Also, playing sports in high school and wrestling in college I have been in and around the rehab and therapy realm my whole life. This profession gives me the ability to help those in need, whether it is in need of pain reduction, improving quality of life or returning to sports or hobbies. My primary focus is to help my patient’s return to their highest functional ability in a very fun and relaxing environment.”

Ryan received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. He completed a one year post-doctoral residency in Orthopedics and is recognized as a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. He is a member of the Wyoming Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. He currently serves as the Chief Delegate in the APTA House of Delegates for the state of Wyoming.  He enjoys hunting, hiking, fishing and all things outdoors.+Crystal Hollatz PT, DPT

“A high school back injury is what lead me into the career of Physical Therapy.  Throughout the therapy treatment I received, I started to think that the profession was one that would fit well with my goals in life.  I enjoyed the idea of getting to help people return to their favorite activities following an injury, and being a part of their journey to recovery.”

Crystal graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2011 with a Doctorate in Physical therapy.  She has had the privilege of working with great medical professionals in Nebraska, Utah, and Wyoming.  She joined the Gottsche Team in 2016.  Her time outside of the clinic is spent enjoying many activities including: fly fishing, exploring new terrain, hiking, camping, cooking, and reading.

“I have been grateful for the opportunity to work with many wonderful people from this community who truly have compassionate and loving hearts.  I love getting to share each day with great people!”+Torie Harris PTA

Beyond the clinic, she enjoys traveling to Meeteetse to work on physical therapy with students and hoping to build a Gottsche reputation with the locals at the Rec center offering therapy so they don’t have to travel to Cody as often for their physical therapy needs.

She and her husband are enjoying their two teenager’s sports activities, living in the most beautiful place in the world, and meeting wonderful Park County residents.+Lisa Platt, PTA
