Sonya Ellis earned her Associate of Applied Sciences Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from Northeast Community College and Bachelor of General Studies from the University of Nebraska- Omaha. She has been practicing as a physical therapist assistant for 20 years with clinical experience in acute care, ICU, post-surgical, outpatient, skilled nursing, and home health settings. She is certified in Parkinson’s LSVT-BIG treatment and FMT Blades Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM). Special clinical interests are orthopedics, geriatrics, Parkinson’s, balance and fall prevention.
